- Cargoes containing precious stones, artistic products, antiques, as well as prototypes of equipment that do not have a set price are sent with a declared value. In case of disagreement about the amount of declared value, an examination is carried out.
- If the cargo requires special packaging to protect it from damage, you must ensure that it is in good condition. If a violation is detected, the sender is obliged to bring it to a satisfactory condition. If the goods are damaged during transportation due to improper packaging, the shipper is responsible for this.
- The dimensions and weight of the cargo must be within the carrying capacity of the vehicle and its dimensions.

Reception of cargo by rail
The general rules for accepting cargo for transportation by rail are similar to the rules for road transport. The difference is that in this case, the application for cargo delivery is sent no later than 10 days for domestic transport and 15 days for international transport.
- The shipper must check the wagon intended for transportation and ensure its technical suitability and good condition. If its condition turns out to be unsatisfactory, the shipper has the right to demand another car.
- The shipper must ensure not only secure packaging, but also proper labeling of goods, and provide them with the materials necessary for securing and protecting them during transportation.

- Dangerous goods are accepted for transportation only if there is a safety data sheet for the substance, which contains information about acceptable methods of storage and transportation.
- Transportation of dangerous goods is possible only if the carrier is able to provide the type of transport that corresponds to this type of cargo.
- Each unit of cargo must have special markings.
- If among a batch of dangerous goods in individual containers at least one unit has irregularities in packaging or labeling, the batch will not be accepted for transportation.
- The combined transportation of dangerous goods of different types is prohibited.
- When packaging a number of flammable dangerous goods and strong oxidizing agents, it is prohibited to use flammable materials.

Rules for accepting cargo from the transport company
When accepting cargo, you must make sure that the weight and volume of the goods, as well as the number of pieces, corresponds to that indicated in the consignment note. You should check the integrity of the packaging, the absence of broken seals and signs of tearing of the packaging tapes.
If violations are detected, it is necessary to check the safety of the cargo in the presence of a representative of the transport company. During the inspection, photos and videos of damage are taken. The report on the violations occurring is certified by both parties.
