The specifics of asparagus transportation require strict temperature conditions (2-4°C) and humidity (95-98%). This significantly affects the final cost of the product.

Fresh vegetables are mainly transported by road or by sea in special refrigerated containers. Each type of crop requires a certain temperature regime, as well as humidity levels.

Supplies from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan are actively developing. These countries have significantly improved the quality of their products and logistics chains, which has allowed them to take a significant share of the Russian market for imported vegetables.
Each type of vegetable requires specific packaging. For example, leafy vegetables are transported in perforated plastic containers, root vegetables – in mesh bags with ventilation, and delicate vegetables – in special shock-resistant boxes with shock-absorbing inserts.
